SMART WEAPON | Thermal Batteries

Vitzrocell has developed thermal batteries used in guided missiles, decoys, torpedoes and other weaponry systems.
These batteries are exported to many countries and other defense contractors. It is a non-rechargeable, single use battery that is completely inert before being activated.

It can be stored without requiring maintenance for more than 15 years and then brought into use at any time, requiring only several tenths of a second before it is ready for use.

It can function under severe climatic and mechanical environments. Its intrinsic qualities mean that it is impervious to high stresses, sudden shocks and sharp pressure drops.

SMART WEAPON | Ampoule Batteries

We have developed ampoule batteries for power source of smart ammunition. Ampoule batteries store the electrolyte in a separate ampoule which is incorporated into the battery case.
When the power is needed, the ampoule is broken and opened allowing the electrolyte to enter the cell, it means ampoule batteries are activated. By using this activation process, we can expect 100% reliability of power source.

This technique is being used for various electronic fuzes of smart ammunition.
